Our Core Privacy Promise

Using the calculator does not make you a contractor lead. We use mapping data to calculate and preserve your estimate. We collect contact details only when you choose to receive an estimate or ask for contractor help, and only explicit contractor-help requests may be reviewed or shared for that purpose.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to make your driveway calculations fast, accurate, and useful:

📐 Calculator Tracing Data

Your entered address or browser location (with permission), map coordinates, driveway drawing, calculated square footage, materials, price range, net rise/run, slope, and location source or precision. Google place IDs may be stored to identify a selected location. An automatically suggested address is treated as estimated unless you confirm it.

✉️ Voluntarily Provided Info

If you save an estimate or separately ask for contractor options by email, we collect your email address. For contractor options, we reuse your mapped project details and ask for a ZIP code if the location is missing. You may also provide your name, phone number, and project timeline through other contractor-help forms or a follow-up.

💻 B2B Contractor Details

For professional accounts, we collect business name, phone, email, website domain, specialties, license files, and billing details.

🤖 Device & Traffic Stats

Anonymous technical details like browser types, approximate geographical region, referral sources, and page interactions.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your information is never sold to third-party data brokers. We use it solely to:

  • Provide the satellite-mapping cost calculation, elevation chart, and permanent estimate link.
  • Send one transactional copy of your estimate when you voluntarily provide your email address.
  • Review and, where appropriate, share project details for contractor help, but only after you submit the separate contractor-help form.
  • Power our B2B contractor widget and territory management tools.
  • Deliver B2B service updates, analytics, and billing transactions.
  • Protect the Service from abuse and troubleshoot mapping or delivery problems.

3. Cookies & Third-Party Platforms

We leverage reliable, standard third-party tools to handle mapping and analytics:

  • Google Maps Platform: We use Google Maps for satellite imagery, address search, geocoding, and elevation profiles. If you allow browser location access, coordinates are sent to Google to identify the area shown on the map. Tracing on the map is subject to Google's Privacy Policy .
  • Google Analytics (GA4): We measure page use, calculator progress, saved estimates, and explicit contractor-help requests. Location analytics are limited to generic values such as the location method and whether an address was confirmed. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, street addresses, ZIP codes, place IDs, or coordinates to Google Analytics.
  • Amazon Simple Email Service (SES): We use Amazon SES to deliver transactional estimate emails and operational notifications. Amazon processes the recipient address and message content on our behalf. See AWS's Privacy Notice .
  • Cookies: Small tracking files are stored temporarily on your browser solely to remember active calculations, map states, and B2B contractor dashboard sessions.

4. Email Communications

When you save your estimate by entering your email address, you will receive:

  • An immediate confirmation email with a summary of your driveway estimate and a link to revisit it.
  • Saving an estimate sends only the estimate you requested. Any future marketing emails would require separate consent.

Saving an estimate does not enroll you in contractor matching. Contractor help requires a separate, explicit request.

5. Contractor Leads and B2B Sharing

Only if you explicitly request contractor help may your name, email, phone number, ZIP code, timeline, project location, drawing, and estimate details be used to evaluate contractor options for your project.

Tool users and people who only save an estimate are not routed or sold to contractors. A contractor-help request does not guarantee a match or quote. If we can help in your area, we will contact you about the next step.

6. Data Security and Storage

We protect your information using industry-standard measures:

  • All site connections are encrypted using secure SSL/HTTPS technology.
  • All user data, drawings, and B2B profiles are kept in safe database storage with restricted administrative access.
  • Payments are processed exclusively through certified, PCI-compliant third-party providers (e.g., Stripe). We never see or store your raw credit card information.

7. Your Rights and Data Deletion

We believe you own your data. Regardless of where you live, you have the right to request deletion of all personal information we have on record.

Want your data permanently removed?

Just email our team with your address or phone number, and we will wipe all associated records from our server databases within 7 business days.
